Steve Wood, MA

Steve Wood is a transformational HR leader with a remarkable career spanning over 25 years, during which he has demonstrated his expertise in guiding Global Fortune 500 companies through periods of exponential growth and cultural integration. Prior to his role at Marchenko Consulting, Steve served as the Managing Director of Global HR Consulting at Axcess Plus for a decade. In this capacity, he provided international consulting support to businesses, leading critical HR functions, and spearheading transformative projects in various regions, including Asia, Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, and Mexico. He has served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Chinese, Italian, Saudi, and Israeli-based global companies in technology, telecommunications, defense, financial, and health services industries. Steve holds a Master’s in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
Aleksey Marchenko, PhD

With over two decades of experience in consulting on communication, conflicts, culture, and team alignment, Aleksey Marchenko is a seasoned professional in the field of human relations. As the Chairman and Founder of Marchenko Consulting, Aleksey presides on the board and plays a pivotal role in critical decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and holding company leaders accountable. His extensive expertise includes coaching both adults and youth, with a remarkable five-year tenure teaching top-tier MBA students. Aleksey has successfully guided numerous leaders in developing meaningful connections with individuals inside and outside their teams. Prior to founding Marchenko Consulting, he served as a Senior Consultant and Project Lead at Niccolo M for almost three decades, where he led strategic communication, electoral research, and marketing research projects across Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Eastern Europe. Aleksey is also an accomplished Associate Professor with teaching experience at HSE University and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Ivan has a deep understanding of large-scale talent management systems and excels in business process analysis, optimization, automation, and data analytics. His extensive project management skills are evidenced by successful leadership in diverse teams, implementing impactful changes. In staffing roles, Ivan has successfully placed candidates from more than 20 countries. Ivan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University combining practical experience with academic excellence. His ability to navigate complex international environments, coupled with his skills in talent management, automation, and strategic planning, positions him as a valuable asset in the realm of HR and business consulting.

With over 15 years of expertise in the field, Gregory Malygin is a seasoned software developer and IT consultant, demonstrating his proficiency in implementing large-scale enterprise resource planning systems. His skill set, along with his project management capacity, makes him an invaluable resource in any complex change management project associated with automation. Gregory’s career across various product and leadership roles demonstrates a commitment to professional development and collaboration across diverse teams. As a Dynamics AX Senior Developer Gregory has been instrumental in various C# projects, systems integrations, implementing high-speed Apache Kafka integration, and OpenAPI generation for inbound services. Gregory Malygin holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University).

Ekitzel Wood has extensive experience in content and channel marketing with a specialization in recruitment marketing and employer branding, building and strategizing the use of organic and paid social media to develop brand and as one part of a content marketing and messaging structure. Ekitzel is dedicated to driving accessibility in the recruitment process, and employer brand storytelling. She commands over a decade of expertise in growing and supporting employer brand, candidate experience, and recruiting process improvement across languages and regions. Ekitzel has worked in established Fortune 500 companies directly as well as a vendor in the marketing and recruitment marketing services space, in multiple countries. Ekitzel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from Brigham Young University.
